At the rally held Wednesday March 19th, 2008 over one hundred supporters came to speak on behalf of Tiger Ranch.

"....We came to support a woman that gives a great service to your community and to many others. We visited Tiger Ranch on several occasions with the most recent being in October. At each visit we witnessed a well maintained and clean facility. We also noticed that there were different areas to address those animals with different needs. For example, there was an area for seniors, an area for healthy and vetted cats, an area for FeLV-FIV + cats and an isolation area for those cats that came into the door sick. At every intake day a VET came and examined and treated them!

We had an opportunity to interact with many of these animals. Their eyes were filled with contentment because they have a home to finally call their own THAT WILL NOT GIVE UP ON THEM.

If this place was so horrible than why were so many people bringing countless animals there over the past 14 years.......It is an absolute SIN that these animals were ripped away from everything they knew and loved only to be STUFFED in carriers and small cages scared and defeated. Countless of these animals that were removed are already dead because certain people decided that because they had certain diseases, a medical condition or just because of their temperment they DID NOT DESERVE TO LIVE. THAT IS JUST PURE IGNORANCE. When Lin Marie gave each of them the same opportunity for life- and a happy life for that matter. Even if people thought that Tiger Ranch did not provide the best care for these animals how are they better off now? Many of them are dying because of stress........not eating........becoming dehydrated and so on.

The public needs to be aware of the inside workings of sanctuaries, shelters and rescue groups. There will be illness. There will be death. There will be a freezer to safely hold the deceased until they can be delivered to their final resting place. The public needs to be aware that many rescue organizations, such as Tiger Ranch, perform a service and take on a job that not many people want to take on. You need to be a special person to do what rescue people do and they need to be rewarded.....not humiliated. "

This was just one of many positive thoughts about Tiger Ranch.

I feel compelled to tell you the truth about Tiger Ranch from my perspective. I have been doing investigations now for over 30 years into every type of animal issue you can think of. LCA has been responsible for putting the first people in State and Federal prisons, had the first government licensed dealer to have his license permanently removed, as of today got the first dogs [11 of them] out of a laboratory and into a sanctuary to be placed in great homes, and the list goes on and on. LCA’s SIU [Special Investigations Unit] and I are extremely meticulous about acquiring the proper evidence for a case. We don’t shoot for 100% but for 150% so there is NO question about the case.
